“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “ I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me, you can do nothing.”

My name is Mai Yeng Xiong. I am the wife of Christian Worker, Nicolas Kau Yang. At the age of thirteen, I began the Lord’s mission and was chosen to be a singer for the Music Planning Department and has sung for many biennial conferences held by UCLE Headquarter Main Office. As I dedicate my life to Christ, He blessed me with the gift of music, and I have offered my life to leading worship and playing the piano for our church congregation.

Every day I strived to live my life by having faith and walking in the light with Jesus. I devote my time to hold various positions at the local and main office level. Currently, I am the Music Director, Fresno Women’s Ministry Treasurer, and Women’s Jesus Love Overseas Executive Assistant Treasurer for Main Office. My hope is to change lives and share about the love of Christ to the world.

We are nothing without Jesus. Make abiding in Him should be our priority. The branch produces fruit because it is connected to the vine. We need to surrender our ways we endeavor to self-produce. Abide in Him and trust Him to produce the fruit through us. In addition, edifying ourselves and fellowship with him is also crucial in our lives. We are his identity, created in Christ’s likeness and he is in us, with His spirit guiding our paths. Let us continue to pray and draw close to Him.
